Privacy & advertising

Your anime list

Saved anime and viewing states stay in this browser’s local storage. First Frame has no user accounts or cross-device list synchronisation. Browser storage can be cleared using your browser settings.

Advertising on First Frame

First Frame displays labelled advertisements using our self-hosted adpush script and locally hosted creative images. There is no third-party advertising SDK, push notification subscription or advertising Service Worker in this integration.

Ad formats include in-content cards, closable floating cards and interstitials, and browser-supported ad-window requests after genuine page interaction. Title links, search, filters, save controls and other interactive controls are excluded from automatic window requests. The browser determines whether and where a separate window opens.

Per-tab session storage records frequency-cap timestamps, normally 60 seconds. If storage is unavailable, a page-memory fallback is used; that fallback cannot preserve the cap across a reload. The watchlist, privacy pages and After hours room do not load advertising.

External advertising destinations

Advertising links lead to an owner-supplied external smartlink. An ad-window request or ad-link click navigates to that destination, which may redirect to another site. The destination and its partners may process normal connection information and use their own cookies or tracking under their policies. We do not send third-party advertising requests before an advertising navigation.

Creative artwork is an advertising presentation, not a promise that the pictured product or promotion is available at the destination. No prize, payment or service availability is guaranteed.

Catalogue data and infrastructure

Title metadata and posters have source links on the title pages. The hosting platform may process connection information for service operation and security. This release does not collect first-party visit analytics; catalogue API totals describe title records, not visitors.
